KYCer Technologies LLC ("KYCer", "we", "us") is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use the KYCer Platform.

1. Data We Collect

• Identity data: names, dates of birth, nationalities, passport/ID numbers submitted for screening
• Business data: company names, registration numbers, business addresses
• Contact data: email addresses, phone numbers, job titles
• Technical data: IP addresses, API request logs, browser/device info, session data
• Billing data: payment method details (processed by our payment provider, not stored by KYCer)
• Usage data: screening queries, report exports, feature usage, API call volumes
• Cookie data: session cookies, preference cookies (see Cookie Policy)

2. Purpose of Processing

• Providing and improving AML screening services
• Generating audit-grade compliance reports
• Account management and customer support
• Fraud prevention and platform security
• Billing and invoice management
• Platform analytics and performance monitoring
• Compliance with UAE AML/CFT regulations and legal obligations
• Security incident response and threat detection

3. Legal Basis for Processing

We process personal data on the following bases: (i) performance of a contract with the Customer; (ii) compliance with legal obligations under UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on Personal Data Protection (PDPL) and AML regulations; (iii) legitimate interests in operating and securing our platform; (iv) consent where specifically obtained.

4. Data Sharing

We share data only with: (i) infrastructure providers (Hostinger — hosting); (ii) security monitoring tools (Sentry); (iii) CDN/security providers (Cloudflare); (iv) payment processors; (v) regulatory authorities upon lawful request; (vi) legal counsel when required. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data.

5. Cross-Border Transfers

Data is hosted on Hostinger infrastructure. Where data is transferred outside the UAE, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place including contractual protections equivalent to Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. Data Retention

Customer Data is retained for 7 years from the date of screening in accordance with UAE AML regulatory requirements (Federal Decree-Law No. 20 of 2018). Account data is retained for 30 days post-termination then securely deleted unless a longer period is required by law.

7. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to: (i) access your personal data; (ii) correct inaccurate data; (iii) request deletion; (iv) restrict or object to processing; (v) data portability where technically feasible. Submit requests to: privacy@kycertechnologies.com

8. Security Measures

We implement AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit, role-based access control (RBAC), multi-factor authentication, audit logging, and continuous security monitoring. No system can be guaranteed 100% secure.
